Cite a treatise in CSM format

A treatise citation gives the volume number (if any), author, title, edition (if more than one), year of publication for the volume cited, the section or paragraph number, and the page (CSM §3:1[A]). Within parentheses only “California” is abbreviated, to “Cal.”; no abbreviations are used outside parentheses.
